The Crew of the American Plane
The Monuments: Built in 1994 for the 50th Anniversary
In this place, during the night of 18 July 1944, in the course of a parachute drop for the Maquis (French Resistance), two Allied aircraft collided. Fifteen American and British airmen perished for our freedom. They shall be forever glorified.
